Spring has sprung and sprained the back!

Yeah, it was a beautiful Good Friday and Easter weekend. To get a jump on my planned day of yardwork, I went the Home Depot for mulch. My first trip was six bags on Wednesday... so thats when I started. I put a weed guard screen down on the side of the house, and laid out the six bags of mulch. Well, that was not even close to being enough mulch. Back to HD I go, for five more bags. Thursday, picked up six more bags to work with the front. All in all after laying out 22 bags of mulch, planted five bushes, and 1000 (well seemed like 1000) pansies, I headed down to Mom's. Mom needed some help with yard work as well... we raked up the last of her leaves and put them on the curb for pick up, dug and placed her new brick boarder (only three bricks, thank God!) for a little patch in the front, and did a heavy lifting project which was the straw on the camels back!! So now I sit at work with ice packs and little sympathy as I am not the only one who over did it this weekend. My yard looks great!

Sarah Palin possible future VP - oh crap!!

I don't have anything against religion. This country was founded by people who believed that we should have a right to our own religious beliefs.   But lets not push it down other peoples throats!!!  I can't really believe all of stuff the Sarah Palin has said in the past and what her beliefs are.. they REALLY can't be true!  How can you think humans have Not contributed to global warming, how can you believe that a woman should not have the right to choose to abort her baby if she was raped, and how can you ban books from public libraries.. she is just TOO much. Ok so she believes in creationism.. so what, I don't!  But her other policies could effect ME... no way, no Palin.

I am voting for Barack Obama!

What a church going woman...and they BASH Obama for his church!!

Check out the talking points on this one (sorry I couldnt make it a URL, just cut & paste)

Politics & Fluffy

Hah! Got your attention right? No this will not be a political post, but I just love the name of my Uncles mom's Roosters "Politics and Fluffy".. I will insert a picture.

I have been working on our Family History album for many months now, and I am fascinated by all of the extravagant outfits they wore in the photographs!
